    Helped make my section hike of the AT successful

    I use the Ultamid 2 with the half insert and dyneema ground sheet. This setup kept me comfortable and dry even in the hundred mile wilderness the days hurricane Lee hit Maine’s coast. Summited Katahdin the day after by the way. I could set the tent up in the rain get inside on the ground sheet do my camp chores cook dinner then hang the insert then set up my bedroom and sleep the night away all in the dry. I purchased this set up in the spring of 2020 it has held up well. I completed section hiking the Appalachian trail as well as several thousand other miles. I also use the Ultamid with a bivy sack in the winter.
