We encourage you to save your dated receipt for proof of purchase as you’ll need it should anything warranty related come up.
If you’re the original purchaser of the product in question and it fails due to a manufacturing defect within one year of the purchase date, you may return it to us for repair, replacement, or a refund of the original price you paid at our discretion.
We put a lot of time and testing into our offerings, but keep in mind that every product has a useful lifecycle. The length of that useful product lifecycle will vary depending on how it was manufactured and the materials that went into it, but also because of the maintenance and care the product receives from you and the amount and type of use the product is subjected to over its life.
Our warranty does not cover the following:
- Products that have been modified, neglected, or for commercial purposes such as rental, courier, police, security, etc., misused or abused, involved in accidents or anything other than normal use
- Hyperlite Mountain Gear products purchased from an unauthorized dealer
- Hyperlite Mountain Gear products purchased from third-party internet sites, including auction websites, and regional trading websites (examples: Amazon, eBay, and Craigslist) are not covered under this warranty, even if you have a receipt
- Normal wear and tear

This limited warranty is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of a defective product, at the option of Hyperlite Mountain Gear, and is the sole remedy of the warranty. This limited warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the Hyperlite Mountain Gear product and is not transferable. This warranty applies only to Hyperlite Mountain Gear products purchased through an authorized dealer or distributor. In no event shall Hyperlite Mountain Gear be liable for any loss, inconvenience, or damage, whether direct, incidental, consequential, or otherwise resulting from a breach of any express or implied warranty or condition of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or otherwise with respect to our products except as set forth herein. This warranty gives the consumer specific legal rights, and those rights and other rights may vary from place to place. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.
TO THE EXTENT NOT PROHIBITED BY LAW, THESE WARRANTIES ARE EXCLUSIVE AND THERE ARE NO OTHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS INCLUDING WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

OUR REPAIR PROCESS
Being that we make our products ourselves, in many cases, we can also repair them.
Over the years, we’ve gained a pretty good idea of what can be fixed and what may require a Viking funeral. For the best results, get in touch with us and have photos ready to send so we can take a look at the problem area.
If you’re out on the trail when a mishap occurs, call us right away if you can. We’ll get a better idea of what’s going on and potentially get the ball quickly rolling on some help. Our office line is 207-496-1499, and we're here Monday - Friday from 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (EST).
If we’ve assessed that your Hyperlite Mountain Gear product can indeed be fixed, we’ll have it back to you within 4-6 weeks.
