Product Reviews and Questions
Great lightweight backpacking quilt
Loft on this quilt is great. Unfortunately, mine did not come with the straps to attach to my sleeping pad, but I was able to reach out to customer support and they were able to help me out and rectify the issue immediately. Great service. Can't wait to put this to use!

Awesome
Super snuggly and warm. Super light and easy to stow.
Perfect quilt for super tall guy
I was looking to shave some weight from my pack so I switched to a quilt. This one is rated at 20 degrees, but I believe the rating is quite generous. I think it's a 20 degree for "comfort" and not "limit", which is what pretty much all other bags are rated for. I tested this on a 12 degree snowy/windy night with a floorless tent, and I was toasty warm.
Being super tall at 6'8" and weighing 220#, I don't fit in a lot of bags and stretch the limit in others. I am happy to say that in this quilt I have plenty of room to move around in and I don't feel constricted at all. Using the pad straps, there is a tight seal around my 78x25x3.5" sleeping pad. I have broad shoulders and when I rollover, the quilt stays put and doesn't lift up. Sure it's a little more tedious getting out of a quilt vs a sleeping bag with a side zipper, but the weight savings are worth it.
I have not experienced any durability issues with the 7D fabric, but it does feel nice and soft against my skin.
Warm Enough
I was worried a quilt would not keep me warm in freezing conditions. I read a couple reviews of that stated this was one of a couple quilts you could trust for late fall trips. Temps got down to 30 on the maiden voyage and I stayed warm. I’m in my mid 60’s with bad knees trying to fly fish the backcountry. Using the quilt instead of my sleeping bag knocked a couple pounds off my pack weight. Hoping it restrains it warm trip after trip. So far so good.
