    HMG Rock bag kit makes food bag hangs a breeze

    I just stepped off the AT after a six day section hike during which I carried the HMG roll top food bag paired with the rock bag kit. When it was necessary to do a food bag hang the rock bag kit made that task a breeze. When a bear vault was available the rock bag and dyneema line weighs nothing and packs small. However, when hanging the HMG Rolltop food bag I would not use the carabiner supplied with the rock bag and line on a bet. I did find the carabiner useful for other purposes but it is too small and lightweight for hanging a food bag that weighs six pounds. Please supply a real carabiner with the rock bag.

    Have 2. One with the food bag kit for hanging. The other I use to store my GoPro. A perfect ditty for an action camera when not in use, protect the lens.
