ESSENTIAL PROTECTION FROM MOST COMMON THINGS THAT COME OUT OF THE SKY
Regardless of what camp you fall into, "It's the HEAT!" "No, It's the HUMIDITY!", there's no denying that relief from the direct rays of the sun is always a welcome, if not life-saving, treat. Same goes for a bit of help staying dry in wet, cooler environments where the risk of hypothermia increases the more saturated you get.
So, with your safety and madness-prevention in mind, we offer The Essential Backpacking Umbrella. It checks all your boxes regarding weight, protection, and strength in high winds. More and more, on just about any trail, you'll see that experienced backpackers have made umbrellas an indispensable part of their kits. We think ours will more than earn its place in yours.

Got my 8 year old up Half Dome in the summer
On a day of over 100 freedom degrees in full sun, I was able to get my 8 year old son up Half Dome in Yosemite thanks to this umbrella.
No amount of sunblock would have made this fully-exposed, high altitude hike bearable. It's remarkable how different the environment feels under this thing.
Back in the valley they called him The Half Dome Dude.
The Essential Umbrella is hence-forth essential for all my summer excursions.

Great purchase
I love being able to have instant shelter from the unexpected rain and even wind. It has so many possible uses and is now a permanent part of my kit.
Awesome!
As light as I need without loosing maximum coverage. I’ve used it on a few sunny hikes that have no shade and it’s a game changer for the blaring sun
