I use this not only for hiking but for everyday carry! I use the pouch for my phone/compass and the hip pouch for quick essentials which includes my firearm. Thank you Vic.
Great buy just before our 1st NoBo Section of the AT
The shoulder pouch worked great to carry my phone in the front mesh and two cellphone chargers in the zipper pouch. It kept the batteries dry until I forgot to zip it up one night. Granted, it rained 12 inches in 4.5 days. Lesson learned. Very happy with performance.
I am not a Fanny pack guy. However, I strapped it around my NorthRim 4400 just above the back pouch and it worked great for wallet, first aid kit and extra meds. Overall, glad I had it. Looking forward to Segment 2 next spring.

I used them on a recent 9 day rainy canoe trip in the Adirondacks and they worked great. They aren't 100% waterproof but very good. They kept important items handy in the boat. I used the shoulder pack to hold my Tenkara fly fishing gear - not my plan but it worked so well I will do so again.
What’s not to like?
