I stand corrected

I never saw the point of the pods, yet Adventure Alan and Ryan Jordan of Backpacking Light were using them. Was I missing something? Yep, I did miss something and I stand corrected. Having all the kitchen stuff in one robust bag, all the food in another and the clothing in yet another was nothing short of a revelation. I have used the pods in two of my non-HMG packs and they fit really well. Yes, they are expensive, but I expect them to outlast my prior go-to silnylon bags by a long shot and they do a lot better in keeping my stuff dry in miserable weather as in the Pyrenees this summer (‘24).

Fits great into my porter 70 and elevate 22 HMG packs. Generally using for extra clothes for overnights or carrying extras while pack rafting. No issues whatsoever with moisture buildup or damp gear. Super lightweight and durable zipper. I tested with some standard stuff sacks from couple other brands and these are definitely top notch!
