Comfy, Spacious
The more you put into it, the comfier it gets. I'm a 5'9 female and the medium fits perfectly. Great for a minimalist and those who wish to customize their pack, as there are many loops to lash attachments on.

Durable and versatile!

I just took this pack to Ecuador and climbed Chimborazo with it. Could not be happier! I opted for the additional porter stuff pocket and think it’s the perfect system. I could easily hold all of my summit, glacier safety and other gear while not feeling like I was bringing the kitchen sink. The borderline water proof Dyneema is also ice proof!

Most Comfortable Pack

This is the most comfortable pack I've ever owned. I'm not a 'nested pockets/bells & whistles' kind of guy. This pack is simple, and set up so you can add or remove features as desired. It fit my needs perfectly, and was sooo lightweight and comfortable that I never thought anything other than 'this pack is great!'

Extremely Solid All-Rounder

This pack is pretty **** good at everything. I've used it to haul in my ski gear in the BC (I added the external mesh pocket for 66 Litre capacity), and I've used it for general hiking too. Great features, pretty comfy, durable, and super light weight...these are traits I knew the Porter would have in excess.

As a big load hauler (20kg or above), I'd say that it is manageable but definitely on the less comfortable end of the spectrum. I think it may be worth embracing the weight of 500 more grams and a different pack for a comfy ride in that case, but for light/ultralight backpacking this pack is fantastic.

Also, be a bit careful with ski edges and this pack (wish they still made the ski reinforced sides as an option). I've worn through a couple of small holes, and that hasn't been with an extreme amount of abuse (yet).
