One Epic Pack.
After using this pack on a couple trips now, it has replaced 6 other packs I've used for winter ascents. Fully loaded with all my winter gear, my shoulders and hips feel great even after 12-18 miles of hiking. I love this pack! And will be buying the Summit Pack for summer climbs!

Exceptional. The Right Pack for a Lifetime Route.
We climbed the Cassin Ridge fast & light, and this pack was the perfect tool for our 40 hour alpine push. I was nervous about the packs durability, but it has taken quite a beating and is still going strong! This pack is THE winter alpine climbing pack.

Don't have this pack yet, what are you waiting for?
I am a big fan of multi-sport days in the mountains; I couldn't be happier with this pack. I love how light and truly durable the fabric is. I am rough on my gear and I'm glad to finally find something that can hold up to the challenge. It was worth the money. Get this pack.

Phenomenal Pack

I wish I bought this sooner. Really an incredible bag for ice climbing. It’s extremely well proportioned and is really comfortable even on long approaches.

Everything I wanted and nothing I didn't

If you're going alpine climbing for a day or 2 this is the pack you want. Hands down. I can carry all my stuff for a few days and don't need or want a summit pack. This bag is exactly what I've been looking for. I've had various Osprey and Mammut bags but I didn't love them. This is the one bag to rule them all. 10/10.

2400 ice pack

I just about sent this pack back when I first opened it. I really didn't like the straps and layout. I purchased this pack due to it's waterproofing. I loaded the pack up for a day trip and within an hour I was really glad I kept it.

This pack is just comfortable. If it had a couple pockets for water on the sides it would be way better for me. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the chest strap is too high. It should have been adjustable or lower. Overall this is a great purchase and I will pound some miles in comfort with it.

Thanks, Rio

Choice of belt?

It should be sold with a choice of belt. I didn't know a pocket belt was available and ended up buying it separately. There may be times the gear loop belt is more useful, but generally, I already have a harness if I'm racking gear and would have preferred the option to choose which belt I wanted. I like the streamlined bag. I'm still figuring out water bottle attachments and maybe a small stuff bag to go between the crampon straps and the side loops. That would save me from opening the bag for small items (daytime snacks, gloves...)
