HOME OF THE THRU HIKER
Over the years, countless tent designs have come and gone, but our experience-led convictions about what makes a truly reliable, versatile, and enjoyable backcountry shelter have remained unchanged and unchallenged. The Unbound 2P Tent is the manifestation of our wish list, and, based on the feedback from the wide array of field testers who took turns with it around the globe, it checks off all their boxes, too. You might call it forecast friendly, roomy, airy, elegant, or clever, but at the end of a long day in wild places, you’ll definitely call it “home." Sets up with two 125cm (48") trekking poles for maximum weight savings. (Ultralight Stake Kit sold separately; trekking poles not included)

Product Reviews and Questions
A++ tent
I love my tent. Easy to set up, lightweight and love it holds me and my gear. Roomy enough for 2 adults+ husky in a pinch. I definitely recommend this product.
Light, roomy, and sturdy
After trying out a cheaper trekking pole style tent (3f gear lanshan 2) for a few years, I was ready to upgrade to a lighter dyneema fabric option. After some research, I decided to buy this unbound over the duplex.
When unpacking and setting up the first time, the guy lines were not connected properly to the main doors. Fortunately, I was familiar w/ my lan shan and figured it out.
When it was set it up in my backyard for a few days, it performed well with on and off rain, and strong winds. When i slept in it, the interior condensation seemed to run into the netting at the end and wick away. I wish the vents had a small tab w/velcro to keep them more open for better air flow.
When unzipping the rainfly door, the vestibule that is still attached is not as taught. If you tighten it and then try to close the zipper, it puts undue stress on the zipper itself, which could lead to failure...so, i just left the last few inches unzipped. More of a challenge when inside the tent closing it. If outside, easier to adjust. The lanshan clips at this location were actually far better.
When my tent arrived a little over a month ago, I noticed the mesh pockets were not the same as shown in the pictures on this website. Instead of being located in the corners, it has rectangular shaped mesh pouches attached to the bathtub floor centered by the doors. I assume it may be a slight design modification improvement?
I look forward to taking this out into the Sierra mountains this…

Love everything about this tent. I’m able to backpack camp with my son and his Scout troop because of your gear. First time setting up in less than 5 minutes. Can’t thing of one single criticism. Mornings spent at 21F! Love the vestibule for my morning coffee 🥰
