Product Reviews and Questions
Perfect for carrying a couple camera lenses
When hiking, I carry my OM-1 MarkII on a PD capture clip. I have been looking for a way to have quicker, easier access to a couple different lenses vs having to take my pack off, open the pack, etc.
I have seen some UL backpackers use the VV and V packs in conjunction with a backpack and thought if they found that combo comfortable enough for a couple thousand miles, it might be worth a try.
The OM system is MFT and many of the lenses are small and lightweight. I chatted with Customer Support about the diameter of my lenses and was told the VV would be large enough.
They were correct.
I carry the Panasonic Leica DG Summilux 9mm F1.7 (18mm FF equiv) and the Panasonic Lumix Vario G 35-100mm f/4.0-5.6 (70-200mm FF Equiv) along with a Lenspen in the VV. My primary lens on the OM-1 is the 12-45/4 (24-90mm FF Equiv) and this lens will fit in the VV when one of the other lenses is on the camera.
Everything fits loosely which makes it easy to swap lenses. I have each lens in a protective case since the VV has no padding so when I brush against a rock wall, etc, the lenses have enough protection.
FWIW - I tried both Camera Pods .. the Small is not wide enough but a good depth and the Large is wide enough but too much overall volume for the smaller lenses I carry.
Lightweight, waterproof, perfect
This is a great bag, just the right size for my needs. I wanted something that would allow easy access to my phone and travel papers and protect my passport and phone while I hike through Portugal. Meets all my requirements. I especially like the extra protection of the interior pocket.
Featherlite
Super light. Does what I need it to. Comfortable
Just the right size.
Fits perfectly across your hip belt or sternum strap for all your little do-dads. Very comfortable, was worried I'd get a little too sweaty behind it, but so far so good. I also find myself wearing it with the included belt on non hiking outings. Super happy!!
Wonderful baglet for knick-knacks
Just right size for mobile phone & some munchies for days when not carrying packs, Vice Versa is sleek enough not to be obtrusive to arm swings & not too small to be useless. Can see this as good document pouch for treks, expect the water resistance to protect these items.
