Perfect hip belt!
Great belt, very comfortable.
Old style belt
Like the older style wide belt and put my larger versalite fanny pack on open side. Removed straps from fanny pack and cut off web sling to save weight. Working well. Never could figure why HMG doesn't make the hip pockets just a little bit bigger and farther forward on belt.Seems everyone I have talk to says the same thing.
The update I needed.
I have the older V2 Ice pack with the tiny pockets that only worked with the belt undone. This is the upgrade I needed, and the pockets work great with this.
I got the small size to go on my medium pack to keep things out of the way, and it still fits great on my 31" waist. Now I can keep the other one configured to pull my polk sled when needed (which it does well with the loops inside those pockets.
A belt with pockets
I bought the belt for my new Prism pack. I like and have more use for pockets than gear loops. I have a medium pack and bought the small belt. It fits me just fine. I wish the pockets extended further forward. A bit hard to get at. At the end he of the day I ended up not using the pocket hip belt and slipped the versa onto onesies of the gear loop belt. It’s awesome. I will keep the belt for times I just want small pockets.
Pockets for days
Added this to an existing pack I was converting to backpacking use. Worked like a charm, comfy and fits lunch and snacks for a whole day in its pocketses, so I can leave the rest of the food packed until I make camp in the evening. Gawd I just love them pockets what can I say.
