CAMERA DISCIPLINE STARTS HERE
One could argue that a camera and a camera bag for hiking aren't necessary items among the equipment that constitutes the backcountry essentials. But we're not the argumentative types, and we understand that for many of you, documenting the transformative places you visit isn't only highly desirable; it may also be your meal ticket.

Product Reviews and Questions
Outstanding Quality
Ultralight and fits securely
Large is the exact size of my Nikon Z6 with 24 to 70 f/4 with lens hood on.
Another perfect solution for stowing your camera either in your pack or attached to your chest. Waterproof, durable ASF, hyperlite lite, lol. I don’t want to always take my f stop camera pack into the backcountry. Now I can just take my camera and know it’ll stay safe in any situation. Just another example of hyperlite’s dedication to the pursuit of the absolute best and lightest minimalistic gear for anything mountains and backcountry!
Totally changes the camera carrying game…
I initially used a backpack strap camera clip for my backcountry adventures while carrying my full frame sony. The camera itself is pretty heavy, and the one shoulder strap clip always kind of made one side of my shoulder hurt. I ordered this because I am doing a thru hike this year and wanted something that would clip a bit better to the pack, but also keep dust and debris out of any cracks and crevices. so far, I am extremely delighted with this pod, I have taken it on one trip so far and it totally changed the game for me. The weight is very well distributed because I clipped it to my chest strap and it almost is like it counterbalances the weight of my backpack, so I hardly even feel it.
For reference, i have a Sony a7Riv with a sigma 24-70 f2.8 and the Large is a perfect fit.
Perfect size for me
TLDR: Larger size fits Canon EOS R with 100mm-400mm lens attached. And zips all the way closed.
I was concerned about the sizing, due the general description of the product. I went with the large pod.
I plan on bringing my Canon RF 100mm-400mm lens on a specific trip in the near future and more to come but didn't know if it would fit inside the pod while attached to my camera.
So if anyone else was wondering if it fits the RF100-400mm whole attached to a Canon EOS R body it 100% does.
Googling the size comparison of the EOS R Body compared to the R5 they are virtually the same size. So any of the other Canon R series cameras with this lens will fit in the pod except probably the R3. But not many, if any R3 shooters will use the RF100-400
I don't have the RF 100-500,RF 600 or the RF 800 but I know those lens is a bit longer and probably won't work.
Perfect Backcountry Companion
I’ve been pretty hesitant about bringing my camera with me in the backcountry. Between the variable conditions and the beating it can take, I’ve resolved to only drag it up on the clearest days and missed out on so many great photos. This camera pod is really the only item in its class on the market. Lightweight, waterproof, easily stowable or can hook to my pack. I feel much more confident with my camera safely sealed. The only complaint would obviously be the price but it’s much cheaper than buying a new camera and lens.
