ECHO I Insert
The Echo I Insert is a fully enclosed, modular A-frame ultralight cuben fiber and mesh tent providing complete protection from insects and ground water. At 11.49 ounces, this lightweight insert clips directly into the Echo I or Echo II Tarp creating a fully enclosed ultralight tent. The tarp insert can also be pitched separately for 100% protection against ground water or mosquitoes while still providing a view of the stars.
The Echo I Insert is constructed with mesh netting, CF8 side panels, a full-length zipped front entry, and a durable CF15 bathtub floor. Perfect for a user more comfortable with complete enclosure, or for the more experienced adventurer just looking to avoid nasty insects. Set-up time is one minute. Poles sold separately.

ECHO II Insert
The Echo II Insert is a fully enclosed, A-frame cuben fiber and mesh two-man ultralight tent that clips directly into the two-man tarp. When attached, it hugs tightly underneath the tarp converting the system into a fully enclosed zipped and floored tent, providing complete protection from insects and ground water. At 0.97 lbs (15.5 oz), this component is perfect for athletes requiring a light but fully enclosed two-man tent. And users love its versatility. Clip it in for full enclosure, use it as a ground cloth in nice weather, use it alone when the mosquitoes are bad, or leave it in the pack on the very best nights.

Windrider Ice Axe Keeper Replacement
This is a replacement component for the Windrider Ultralight Backpack series to hold an ice axe fast to the pack. It is a velcro loop specially designed to work with the Y-strap compressor extending from the front of the pack to the top closure. HMG Ultralight Shelter System stake kit includes six gold 9.0” aluminum stakes for the Echo Tarp ridgeline and corner tie-outs plus six blue 6” aluminum stakes for the Echo Insert and middle tie-outs of the Echo Tarp. The blue 6” aluminum stakes are slightly heavier than the titanium shepherd stakes included in Kit I, but they do provide just a bit more grip into the ground.

Titanium Shepherd Hook Stakes - Set of Four
Made from quality titanium and specifically designed for the ultralight backpacker. These titanium shepherd hook stakes are designed with a rounded point to prevent stuff-sack puncturing. Not advised for major anchor points such as the Echo Tarp ridgeline or corner tie-outs, however these are ideal for the Echo Inserts or for the middle tie-outs of the Echo Tarps.

ECHO II Beak
The Echo II Beak is an important addition to the Echo II Ultralight Tarp in the event of high winds or driving rain. It works as a weather vestibule that quickly and easily attaches to the front of the tarp providing complete protection from heavy rain. At only 0.27 lbs (4.3 oz) the Cuben Fiber beak is well worth its weight for long distance travel or under any conditions where heavy rain or high winds are possible.
The beak is designed with a military spec Velcro hook & loop attachment system, military grade snaps and three guy lines, all for quick and easy attachment. It also has a double-pull, waterproof zipped entry with the ability to open and close either its right or left side. Set-up time is ½ minute.
