The Windrider Southwest has durable Spectra Hardline exterior pockets to avoid irritating snags on the dry, spiny branches and brush of the American southwest.

This cuben fiber ultralight backpack is frameless with internal stays is specifically designed for mountain hiking, backpacking, and long-distance hiking but is also highly suitable for day-hikers, thru-hikers, section-hikers, climbers, distance cyclists or campers with pack loads under 35 pounds. 

The Windrider Southwest is constructed from our rip-stop Cuben Fiber/Polyester hybrid material which is durable, lightweight, and waterproof. HMG's Windrider Southwest Ultralight Pack is constructed with the same rugged, ultralight, and innovative Cuben Fiber technology but now features a wide hip belt for more comfort and support. Other features include large hip belt pockets, an internal hydration sleeve for a water bladder, an ice axe loop and keeper, compression straps and removable aluminum stays.
